Well, here I am, @ Joanne's, post Rose Rage (omg, it was AWESOME and *so* worth the money and ... just totally blown away by the awesomeness that is Henry VI and it was like a well choreographed dance, except so well choreographed that it seems natural and you barely notice the fact that one actor plays 3-4 characters and goes through 2 different costume changes in 10 minutes and gets killed 3 times in 3 different ways but you can still keep it straight in your head because it's just that cool about things.... Anyway, yes. Good stuff.) This of course lead to coming home to Joanne's room and watching Richard III on her tiny TV. (According to her, it makes much more sense now that she's seen Henry VI. Also noted was the need to see the whole multi-play saga in one form or another. This is crazy stuff, man. Mmmm... Richard you angsty little bastard. Oh, so many intensely cool guys in the cast, we couldn't decide who to abduct. There were also lots of knife-sharpening and blood and guts and purple cabbages. YUM.
YES it's hella early in the morning here. What's your point? I have several options:
1) go to sleep on couch/floor, wake up at 7:45 to see Joanne off, go back to sleep and go home at decent time
2) stay awake until city is light enough for me to head home, before 7, so that I can pick up cucumber and tomato from Alexis (if they're awake), and return the tupperware.
3) doze, see Joanne off, trek home, but too late since it'd be 8 and Alexis-tachi would be gone, but I can just buy another cucumber.
Oh! Oh! The wonderment! Joanne's x-mas present to Sushu = Aragorn Action Figure! OMG, this is so COOL. (note: last bendy figurine in Sushu's life was the Barbie. From 3rd grade, that Sushu got for x-mas or something, from someone other than parents, naturally) You can take off his cape, and his legs and arms are all twisty, and he has his sword and his dagger and he has this yelling/angsty face. :D!! Will take photos when get home.
Okay, things to do tomorrow. Err.. today. Well, the flight is from 8-11pm, which means I need to be at the airport by 6:30-ish which means leaving at 5:30-ish which means dealing with lunch and dinner (hence the need for said tomato and cucumber). There is also the need for:
- laundry
- minor packing (going home for 3 weeks = 1 week's worth of clothes, any books/sketchbooks, laptop)
- tidying of the apartment
- several trips to the library to return books
- clearing out the fridge. Although roommate gets back in a few days so not a big deal.
Erg, is it really that scary outside at 4am? Joanne's all worried that I'd get raped and pillaged. Strange that I'm too much of a wimp to call the drunk van but I'm obviously oblivious about the dangers of me walking home through the ghettos at 4am. Besides, I only have $5 for any interested pillagers. hee. pillager sounds like villagers on drugs.
My back is being all weird and hurty again. Which is hopefully a false alarm, but whatever.
Maybe it's time to find some paper and doodle. Or raid Joanne's bookshelf. Unlike me, she has lots of fun things to read. Well, fun history-ish things.
Ooo... mousie's online!
