Okay, I'm finally done with chapter 1, but I think the later chapters will come easier, now that I know what it feels like, to have overlapping narratives, one of which most people can't read. Although I'm pretty proud of my Chinese section. It actually sounded okay, especially the background descriptions. The chinese part serves as a cultural reference, then one of the main character's narrative is very sparse and factual, while the other one is all descriptive and not as coherent. Yay. chapter 2, where something actually happens.
