1 paper done and sent. Anime club gone and went (okay, that doesn't work, and I'm too lazy to think of other rhyming words). Currently happily not thinking about next paper. For the class that I barely did any reading for. -_-;;
But yeah, dvd/vcr player has arrived! w00t! I can watch tapes now!
Oh, funny thing that happened today: I left my studen ID in the library. 5th floor copy machine. AGAIN. Well, at least it wasn't over break like last time. And at least I'm not in a dorm any more, so I really don't need that, except to get into the libraries, computer labs, and dining halls. Yes, stupid copy machines. :D
And how many businesses have started fom Stanford dorm rooms? Stanford people must have a statistic to quote...

GOOGLE ON THE MOVE IN MOUNTAIN VIEWMan, I wish I had scooters and cube farms... well, at least I have gummy bears. And cereal. ::goes to munch::
While the number googol is a constant (1 followed by 100 zeroes), Google the search engine company is in constant motion. From its earliest origins in a Stanford dorm room, to a garage workspace, to an upstairs office in Palo Alto to its most recent sprawl of buildings in Mountain View, California, the Googleplex headquarters is more an idea than a specific place. That idea is taking a new form as Google shifts its center two blocks south to a large office
campus formerly occupied by Silicon Graphics. The facility will soon be swarming with Googlers on scooters zipping through cube farms and bouncing on exercise balls while munching cereal and gummi bears. If you do business with Google, please bear with us as we make this move to what should be our home for many years to come.

They have volleyball courts/area, on campus showers, food, and they want to put in a pool. They also give perks like free drycleaning, free (unlimited!) food and snacks and drinks, etc. to employees. Ah, if only we could work for Google...
But on a completely different note, I first started learning to drive in those parking lots...
