Still chugging through LJ-friends, but, yay! I'm back from Sequoia/King's Canyon National Park. Lots of fun. I'll show pictures once I recharge camera batteries, load them onto my comp, resize them, burn everything onto a CD and move them between comps for printing/uploading. So that'll be a week, given how lazy I am. All in all though, it was a fun trip. Dad is a lot more fun/casual when he's not with mom. With mom, he's just always STRESSED.
Random: Did you know LJ headquarters is in Oregon? whoa.
Let see, what else? The refurbished Aiptek Hyperpen 8000 came in the mail, so once I return the other one to Fry's, I'll have obtained an 8x6 graphics tablet for $83. Not bad on the long run. Hopefully mommy will get me Painter in China, which would just make everything beautiful. Of course, all this doesn't make me good at drawing. It just makes me more ... wealthy-brat-like? Yeah, something like that. Whatever. I've been wanting one for 3 years, and since this summer seems to be the "hah! you can't stop me from draining my bank account to fulfill repressed desires because I be college student now!!"

This is quite scary. ::pets poor bank account:: I've spent ... $450 on art stuff alone. All this "hah I will cast off repressive shackles!" thing costs a lot, man.
Can you tell I'm trying to up my post frequency back to a tolerable level?
