So after a month of sluggishness, I suddenly feel energized again. Don't know why. Maybe I just hit rock bottom of the summer doldrums, so all that's left is going up. Maybe it's because I finally re-found scarf-yarn after 2 weeks. But anyway, semi-artsy post.

Here's a photo of my first acrylic painting. I'd say first acrylic painting ever, but I did do that really weird one for that crappy Paly Summer Art class before 9th grade.

And then yesterday I also got myself an Aiptek HyperPen, the 6x8, $99 one. So here's a few 15-minute quick doodles to test out the pen. Dabbler ain't that great, but whatever.
