well well well.... online again after an eternity. Y'know one of the issues of this house? too many freaking computers, too few that do what I want it to do. Dad has 2 computers, one upstairs and one downstairs. The downstairs one is Win95 (omg, the antique-ness... and yes, omg is to be read as 'ahm-guh', not 'oh my god'), the upstairs is WinXP, P4 and all that good stuff. I have my laptop. Mom has her computer, the new laptop that she just got, and the old laptop from 2 or 3 years ago. There's also this new computer that we got for going online, which is what I'm using right now. There's also the two computers that broke down, but dad is trying to get someone to help fix, one being my old computer and one being mom's old computer. Now, we used to have this cute little LAN thingy so that all the computers are connected. But now, after all these weird viruses due to ... funky things, the web computer is off the LAN, and dad's new computer is off the LAN, but connected to the good HP scanner and the big-ass color laser printer (dad is paranoid in general. Which is why he still clings to his Win95). So with 3 functional and working laptops in the house, 3 printers, one web machine and one scanner, all connected to separate computers that aren't LANed, well, it's called "CD-RW Craziness". So instead of stepping on toys and legos, one finds CD-Rs and CD-RWs and even a few DVD-Rs all over the place. For example, I'm currently looking for the CD-R with the files that I scanned that I want to upload... but I'm sure I didn't label it. Of course, there's a CD-RW with that stuff, too, but I think it's gotten mixed up with the powerpoint presentations for Chinese school, which is on another CD-RW...

Anyway, I did manage to upload this from a while ago... Don't care much for the coloring, but I do like the person in the back. But the moral of the LJ-cut above is that I've lost the CD-ed files of those imgs that I've been promising to show Nendil for... ever. So. bah me. bah computer.

Maybe I should take some quick photos of some recent art-ish attempts... (biggest goal right now: not forget watercolor tomorrow.)

Beach day was fun, glad I wasn't doing the driving. Also glad that my pants dried before getting to the multi-family concert that my brother was participating in. Yay for getting there in time. Also yay for good food afterwards. I can be a decent cook if I try....

I have photos of beach day. But they're on the camera, which can only be put onto my comp... I guess I'll try to use my comp to upload pics and hope that the battery doesn't run out.

Oh, Jess? Sounds familiar?

I do have a picture of my scarf, but it's kinda old, as the scarf is now long-ish, so time to take new photo.

Last week I wanted to update to tell about my freaky-cool dream where King is in color and he was sitting on a bus, but with this weird frizzly beard-thing, not unlike Levar Burton in the later Reading Rainbow shows, except that he's Martin Luther King and he was talking to Abernathy, and I was sitting on the side, facing their profile-type because I was sitting on one of those sideways seats that you're supposed to yield to old people. And then I got off the bus and told my brother about how 'omg, I saw king today. Is it Jan 19th or Feb or something?' And then we saw this train going across the plains in the far distance (the landscape was kinda dry and grassy, but at the same time I knew it was in southern california), and I knew that that's where I saw King, so I pointed and then the train stopped, backed up, and then King came down to make a speech, except that it wasn't King, in was Lincoln, but aged, like what he'd look like at 60 if he lived till then. So he talks about his reminesces after his presidency, and was really nice and stuff. And my brother runs up and gains his audience so that my brother could read Lincoln's speech to Lincoln. I tried to stop him because I felt that it's kinda weird to read someone's speech to himself, but Lincoln liked it and they went off talking, towards the train. So yeah, a strangely realistic dream, despite the bus turning into train bit. Almost as realistic as me doing my Warner reading in a dream but not understanding what it said because I hadn't done it in real life.

Chinese school today, and then dad took us out to dinner.

omg, it's already 1am, and this has been a long entry. Of course, I feel pseudo-justified because I haven't updated in so long, but anyway...

dammit, haven't checked email. Haven't written email in so long.

I mentally verbalize omg like "o-mu-gah", much like how I think of wtf as "wuh-ta-ff--".
