Had nearly given up hope. Then found RCN. horribly uninformative website, but at least it might have cable internet in the area....

How does one find a phone line company thing? Apparently DSL requires an existing phone line. Heck, if I already have an existing phone line, why would I need DSL? I am so confused. Maybe just easier to deal w/ cell phone.

Because DSL is a heck of a lot faster than dial-up (and probably cheaper too)! Speaking as a former dial-up user, my record was probably about $300 for one month. o_- Now on cable it's a flat $58.94 per month.

Mine was $7.50/mo (which is probably about $5/mo too) but I kept going over the limit. =P
