maintenance issues
okay, some house-cleaning issues. (by house, I mean the space occupied by my internet self)

Juno and LJ have decided to hate each other. (or rather, Juno has decided to hate LJ), so I haven't been getting any email notification of comments made to my posts or comments. Since I think commenting is important because it gives a more "community" feel than "misc journals of spiffy people", I do try to go and comment-reply, etc. However, I rarely remember to check my recent entries page to see if anyone commented. So, do not be disturbed by comment-replies that are 2 weeks late. And if you *do* happen to be disturbed by traumatic memories of old comments that you'd rather forget, drop a comment to this post saying, "Sushu, too late. The golden window of opportunity is 500 seconds. After that, I'd rather not get a reply-comment. The door to the Source is closed!"
There should be more issues, like my lack of updating of ZN, or my lack of a tidepools webpage, or my lack of interesting/amusing/truthful/informative LJ posts, but that'll come later.
Oh, calligraphy club today was fun. And took way too long.
- after adding another bad mouse-doodle and changing some names around on my UChicago server, I realized that I only have about 500kb of space left. This means I need to move stuff to my http://www.tidepools.org/ webspace. Now, the reason that there isn't anything at tidepools.org right now is because I've been lazy and haven't been making/designing my own website. (or rather, I have a few designs, but still not satisfied. I want simple with a touch of personality, not overly-artsy or cutesy, and width-adjustable). Also, tidepools directories are automatically forbidden to outsiders, and I can't change it b/c it's above me. So if I were to move something onto tidepools.org, it has to be organized and html-ed, which requires effort. Question: Which section of my current uchicago server would you rather see html-ed and pretty/accessible?
