Housing Lottery tonight. I will resist the urge to point and laugh..... at myself, actually. Probably won't get as much financial aid for next year because moving out of house system, but that also means that I'll be paying less.
Looked at the meal plans for next year, and decided, it's not worth it. If I eat at Bartlett for lunch, I'm estimating $5 per meal. For lunch. And plus random BartMart trips, it'd be around $400 flex per quarter, or $1200 per year. The Bartlett Moderate is $2583 for 600 points/qtr and annual $416 flex/yr. I won't be able to use up all those points. The other minimum plan is 22 meals/qtr and $650 flex/yr. I figure if I want to eat at Pierce, I have people that can swipe me in, no prob, so that's not really worth it either. So I'll probably get Flex $$ and just have fun with that. It's really the most efficient, because you don't get anything leftover or other nastiness.
What's funny is that I've gotten pretty good lottery numbers so far... I could have gotten a large single in Pierce or something else in another dorm (#1406).
around $3200 for housing, $800 for home-made meals, and $1200 for flex.... That's around the same price we're paying just for the room this year. Cra~azy.
A little worried though, dunno whether I can do it next year.
Wow, this has been a much needed break. I read 2 books on Monday and 1 looong book today. I have hunched-over-reading muscles. (in other words, my shoulders are all tense and knotted from reading too much. >_<) Anyway, it's 10, so I should be off to do *more* reading. Aaargh. Welcome to my life for the next 3 years. Starting to get the hang of this reading thing, though.
