well, it's settled. Sorta small room (I'm guessing 8x10 or so, but w/ radiator + closet + fan), but KITCHEN, living room w/ tv, dvd, couch, etc. 2 sweet Chinese CompSci grad students, $315 per month. I'm signing the lease tomorrow. If it's good, I can stay longer. If it's bad, it's only a year. I survived this year, right? And I'll be able to have my own room next year. It's about the same distance from campus as Pierce (not far away like Shoreland).
The only downside is that no phone lines, no DSL. I don't care that much about calling people, but I *do* want to go online. Since they're both CS majors, they'll probably be willing to share a DSL line. Otherwise, Crear is just 5 minutes down the street, and that will probably help control my internet addiction. Even with cell phone and DSL line, it'd still be a monthly $315+$30+$15=$360 per month. With a DOUBLE in Pierce, it's $5131 for 3 quarters. Even divided into 12 months, that's still $427 a month, not including the food.
Overall I think it's a good deal. Next I'll start looking for bedframes and desks.
