there's a bunch of new things happening to livejournal for its birthday, so I recommend keeping a procrastinating eye on ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
news. For example, there is now a simpler URL system and a new LJ site design. (which you could beta-test here: http://www.livejournal.com/betatest.bml ) It's pretty. And quite a drastic change. Do it. It's pretty. (And it would have been all CSS-based if everyone used Mozilla instead of IE6)
