heehee.. found the old Li sketch from Jen/Tochi's website that I'd saved. Yay! New Li very different. I think Li means raccoon-like animal, but not sure. (If you have to pare HuLi down to one syllable, it should be Hu, but that's too close to Hou.)
Wow, there's an anime that's based off of Shen Diao Xia Lu. (The Return of the Condor Heros) And it's actually *good*. As in, *faithful to the book*. Nice little details that I didn't think they'd keep... they've kept. The flow is actually almost exactly like the original book. The parts that JingYong doesn't elaborate, they don't, either (no gratuitous nudity scene). Plus they conveniently explain martial arts lingo without being obnoxious about it, and integrating it into the flow of the story. ::happy:: At first I was like "they skipped the first 3 chapters! What's going to happen to >plot point important later onmanga), but oh well, it's the story that counts. They did such a good job of editing the story! Yay! (Speaking of the manga, though, I have a sneaking suspicion that that's what it's based off of. The manga is (supposedly) very true to the story.)
On the homework side, I'm not. I think I spend more energy making myself do work than actually doing it.
