Gettysburg
We were gonna see Gods and Generals tonight. But we missed the show, so instead we watched the sequel (Gettysburg) in Joanne's room.
(Me: How long is it?
Joanne: Shorter than Gods and Generals. Something under four.
Me: ::stare::
Joanne: closer to three and a half. More like three.
Joanne: What's 254 minutes?
Me: um... that's 4 hours and 15 minutes. Which is *not* "three hours".
Joanne: It's good. Dead people. War. Speeches. Man against man. See it)
Conclusion? Epically long. Bordering on sappiness but not falling in. Glorying in war and comraderie and the sheer insaneness of the Civil War.
Since people (following the great American tradition of non-voting, people means 2) said that they prefer long extended entries because clicking is bothersome, I'm gonna assume that everyone has those little scroll-wheelies to help them speed through entries... zoom! ... and minimize the use of LJ-cut. If you prefer lj-cuts for a nice, clean friends page, meh! Too bad for you! mwahahahaha!
