y'know? This whole having friends thing? It's good for my emotional health, but not for homework-doing. Maybe I just need to stop dawdling online. Then more time for homework!

Do the anti-war walkout only if you actually believe in the idea. It makes me sick that (at least in Boston) people jump at the chance to supericially bash Bush, using the war as their flavor of the week. I've had three classes now that have thrown in needless political commentary to gain cheap laughs, and every time it makes me want to just leave the room in disgust.

Remember how three years ago being against Bush actually ignited debate? Looks like the pro-life people that were going to support Bush until the end suddenly realized that war can kill people too.

Personally, I'd be anti-war without associating with bandwagoning hypocrites.

funny how my parents' dogmatic liberalism and one sided talkshows have forced me into the position of Family Conservative Devil's Advocate.

My Friend Jonathon Owiki said it well. Something like this: "In Palo Alto you get to hear a lot of liberals, some intelligent, but mostly blindly stupid ones... I think I'd be more liberal if I lived in a town where I could hear stupid conservatives."
