Yay! Tonight was fun.

After declaring a "no stress night", several "first time ever in a long time" things happened tonight:

- I drew fanart. For Inferno's Touch (GW). The last time I did *real* fanart (where I attempted to make the characters somewhat resemble things) was ... 11th grade, fanart for SoF. Not even for RK. Erg, large eyes! cannot handle! I had to keep reminding myself that it's just fanart, that eyes are supposed to be that big. (Think of how inefficient it would be in RL, though! the muscles that move them would have to be gigantic! And you're letting in way too much light into your eyes. Maybe that's why anime bad guys have no sense of aim: they're blinded by sunlight! And the mysterious shades don't help either) Anyway, it's quite depressing to realize that my art skills haven't improved in the last two years. Of course, it doesn't really matter since it's recreational, but ... I wish what I drew was more eye-pleasing and realistic. (But then I'm too lazy to really try hard on these things.) Speaking of laziness, I took a half-hour break today (saturday) and psuedo-colored it. Anyway, VERY CATHARTIC.

- I did webpage maintainence for ZodiacNotes! Which haven't done since... June last year. Really minor stuff though. Mostly just updating the links to the correct place, and page jump and whatnot. Waiting for more info on the new chars.

- I went to a party! Last time that happened, it was graduation dance, 8th grade. >.<;; Well, technically, it's called "The Receipe", and it's school-sponsored, very non-alcholic and non-couplish. (except for the people who pregamed... like our house). So there were separate rooms for Jazz (its a modern kind, not really jazzable, more like concert), Swing Dancing (would have danced around if I were drunk and had a guy, but I didn't), Rock (too short to see the people spasming on stage. But nice music), Techno (people were raving with cell phones b/c no glow sticks. I just shifted and tried to copy other people. (except the raving and the humping)). Then there's the Hip Hop, where we saw some awesome breakdancing. Wow, just the communication between the dancers, and their strength and agility... So danced a little to hip hop music. Anime Club Guy (god, I need to figure out his name. Andrew? Adam? Tony? I've been wanting to ask him a question for a long time). Anyway, he came over and danced w/ me and Julie for a while. And then Julie got tired and we left. Okay, so probably not very exciting for the people who actually have a life and have been to *real* parties, and not just fake ones like this, but ... it was interesting. With this music, there's just an overall desire to melt into the crowd and just get into the music. But at the same time, people are very self conscious and want to dance well. (And dancing well seems to mean dancing seductively/sexually, with lots of flashing lights and just overall sensory overload) Anyway, it was fun. I wish I had learned to dance better.

- I didn't think about homework all night! That's a whole 10 hours of waking time! Go me! I think that's the first time in 2 weeks.

Oh, I think I figured out Anime Club Guy's name....I always thought it starts with A, but here's the guys in anime club that I can't attach name to face: Adam, Kevin, Tony, Zachary. And Adam lives in the wrong direction, Tony and Kevin are a grad students, so that leaves Zachary, which has a long a sound. I think Tony is the kendo guy, and Kevin is the scary old guy, so I guess Adam might be the bio/japanese guy. Cool.
