ah... the brilliance of The Onion: Bush on North Korea: 'We Must Invade Iraq'
I have not yet started hw tonight. ::gasp::
However, we sold t-shirts today, and made $500+! Which grosses out to $85. Our house fundraiser rocks.
And I will soon be on the University payroll... soon. by the end of this week, hopefully.
Oh! And thank you everyone who gave me suggestions for what to do instead of movie-watching.
here's some quick reponses:
Hang out with Mousie: But when is Mousie around? Sushu doesn't know Mousie's "come hang out" schedule. Plus Sushu feels bad b/c she'd be always mooching off the kindless of Mousie and the Paradise-ness of Mousie's room...
Scanslations: good idea, although slightly addictive.
Origami! good idea!
Daydream: I'm good at staring blankly for long periods of time, but unfortunately no happy dreamlike feelings appear. And hot daydream guys don't walk up to me, either.
Brush teeth: Is that why? hahahaha.
Food: requires a) hunger, b) food-making materials. like food. and pots. and oil. and salt.
Tea: Tea? you have to make it? (::goes for the just-add-water type::)
Travel outside: destination would be movie theater. I wouldn't be caught dead in the Reg.
Eeesh, I just thought, "hmm.. what can I do in my spare time?" and my brain automatically answered: "homework" bad brain bad!
Oh, during lunch today, I sat at a random table in BJ, and they were talking about politicsy stuff, about whether Chinese Communism is all that different from early American democracy. One guy had an interesting belief: The goal of political systems is to prevent megalomanics from taking over the country. Hmm.... I think you can analyze it that way, and it's thought provoking, but not the immediate goal of those who create the political system. Duude, these UChicago ppl are *smart*!
Nothing exciting and fun really happened today. eep, off to homework!
