Geese and silliness
haha, during that whole long rant about my thoughts while walking from Midway studios, I forgot to mention the most exciting part: GEESE! I was just casually walking across the Midway (3 block by 4 block strip of grass and trees), 3 or 4 troops (or whatever you call them) of geese flew by!!! Honking and flying in line/> form and doing the whole kaboodle. Okay, fine, you people who've seen this before, it's not all that new. But I was so excited! I mean, real live geese, doing what all those children's books said they did! Brought back lots of WaFFy memories of mommy reading "365 nights" to me, and all the da yan (canada geese) that fly this way and that. ::wallows in waffiness::
Okay, what did I do today? I went to bank, and got $13 back into my account b/c they did something silly. Then picked up my art stuff from Midway. Then I wrote LJ, whatnot, and then was all ready to go to Reg to do some Chinese research! But! the Reg was closed by the time I made up my mind to stop procrastinating. So... yeah. I'm leaving at 10:30am tomorrow, which should give me 2 hours to do some research. ::shrug:: it's optional anyway, so whatever. Anyway, so I had all this free time after dinner that I'd planned on spending at the Reg. So I did the laundry, vacuumed the rug, swept under my bed, marvelled at Alex's pretty Gundam scroll (::drool:: the "fwoosh" sound it makes when it unrolls is quite exciting), watched The Birdcage (funny), and haggled the American Airlines people.
Anyway, to sleep, for a little Lear and an attempted early rise.
