Started new series today, Witch Hunter Robin. Weird so far. Lots the witch hunters look like witches and the witches look like hunters. you have typical bishonen. If it doesn't get better by next time, I'll stop.

RahXephon got amazingly better today. Well, if not better, at least more complex. Everything is starting to pull together. New character revelations, the mysterious must-have Foundation has appeared, but its purposes are still mysterious. The good/evil demarcations aren't as strong, and they seem to be striving towards the same goal. I just like how the reactions are slightly dramatized, but really normal. Not Waffy, no undue angst. Granted, there's angst, but it's not ANGST, it's a person dealing with himself. And coming to a conclusion. I mean, in these two episodes, the main characters all see something that they shouldn't see, or something they shouldn't know, which complicates the entire picture severely. However, I love how their reactions are so ... muted. No random bursting into tears, etc. So much is contained inside. These characters actually feel like characters, because they have an internal consciousness, but it's not the aloof angsty bishie boy, either. I can't wait to see the next ep! V. good fantasy.
