First: Harry is most obviously the pimp. Ginny, Myrtle, and Hermione are all after him. Also sensing tension b/c Ron *obviously* likes Hermione. As does Hagrid.

Overall: better than first one? I feel less has been left out. At least most key action is in there in some form or another.

"eeee!" (fangirlish, not really rationalized):
- Snape (though there were some pudgy parts)
- Lucius (yes, fur hat and hair ribbon. how cute!). *_* (why of all things am I thinking "Saitou" right now?)
- Draco, although he pales before his father.
- Ron with cracking voice. (more like "heehee", though)
- Lockhart! Kenneth Branaugh! Very nicely done, better than book, even.
- Dumbledore's room! oh, and rest of the set, as well. Like the bathroom.

good:
- Tom Riddle: v. v. evil, in not-so-much "eeee!" manner, more like "eee....eek!"
- Moaning Myrtle! good acting, etc.
- Filch.

eh:
- I thought the petrified people were supposed to be ash-colored?
- Dobby. decent. better than expected. Some expressions are just plain unnatural, though.
- Quidditch. I'm sorry, but Quidditch belongs in the "eh" category. Why? because there *wasn't* Quidditch. Well, maybe *5 seconds* of it. WTF? It was more like Draco, Harry, and Bludger, blatantly violating the out-of-pitch rules of Quidditch. Give me more Quidditch and less broomstick-race! bleh. I wanted the George+Fred try to help Harry w/ bludger, and so Slytherin scores, not Slytherin kicking ass, and Harry chased by bludger, and then long chase in the ramparts of the pitch. Portraying Quidditch as an overall cruel + violent sport.
- most action bits. They're good, but what's with the over-scary thing? You'd think that if it's targetted towards kids, it'd be less scary than the book, but no, it's *more* scary than the book. What's up with that? A little too much time spent with spiders and cars and whomping willows and basilisks. Character, people, not action.
- Parseltongue: too similar to LotR Ring murmurs. Decent, though. definitely see the sexiness part. But still, black speech of mordor

bad:
- ending. too quick. I was like... "huh?" The "everyone loves Hagrid" is *so* wrong as an ending. What kind of wussy ending is that?
- transitions. as in, none at all
- Ginny + Colin... not explained at all. None of the exasperation of Harry was really portrayed. I mean, I think this is his most frustrating year... Ginny, Colin, Lockhart, Heir...
- Hagrid. I love Hagrid and all (and apparently, so does Hermione), but what's with him taking all the spotlights? meh!
- Explanation of Tom's diary. Harry's pretty crazy to go blabbing to a random ink-sucking diary about the chamber of secrets...
