summercomfort | (no subject)

woo! made some progress on Marx paper. Well, sorta. I wrote 3 pages, (single spaced!), and I think I can write more. Only problem is, I need to ask the prof if he expects a main claim or not, and whether I can depart from the prompt. I mean, he does say, "the goal of this assignment is to encourage you to probe Marx's work, to learn more about it as you write, and to demonstrate your understanding of the text." I *do* understand the text. (now that I'm done w/ the torturous reading, I can firmly say that Marx is cool. I mean, *you* try coming up with a revolutionary idea that actually explains everything! ... well, sorta)
