have small selfish desire to get care package in mail, then realized that it would be silly, as I have everything I need and do not want chinese school textbooks or anything, and will be back in little more than a month. Therefore, no real need for care packages. Not really homesickness or anything. Just selfishness. I am a very selfish and uncaring person. hey! Got some chef boyardee ravioli in microwavable bowl thingy, for those TuThu mornings when the cafeteria is just not worth it. And daddy sounded happy when I called to say happy b-day on Monday. That was cool! He actually cracked a joke (you have to let your grades and health communicate with my money!), and talked about how he's doing (fine now that there isn't work from mom) and his birthday (would have cake in 5 minutes)! Am very happy about that. Glad daddy is relaxed and not all angst-like as over the summer.

I'm also (apparently) a very serious person. and a very weird one. As in when I talk w/ ppl, I know they're thinking, "c'mon, loosen up!" or "um... sure..." And ppl don't really understand Sushu-humor, because it's either very corny, or very bizarre. Sushu.humor==bad. Phone bill sez I talked w/ mom for 43 minutes last week or something. really that long? But then roomie also talks long w/ her mommy, except on cell phone. It's crazy, her parents are jane and john, and she's jean. Oh! also got crispy m&ms at bart-mart. They all say Bartlett has good food, but not really. Confusing and expensive is more like it.

hmmm.... what do I have to do for tomorrow? There's a math quiz, so I might actually want to flip thru the notes a little bit. I'll probably try to finish the Chinese translations tonight. Read a little Marx? hm. I'll take with to anime club to read during the parts I don't watch. Oh! must get LJ code for roomie. I've been hitting my sketchpad a lot. it's only halfway through the quarter and I only have about 50 pgs left of 200. sure, most of it is crap, but whatever. Anyway, should read metamorphosis some, hmm... tomor morning? sounds good. And maybe do some SMAC PR stuff. Can't decide what I want to see more, HP2 or LotR2. Or Spidey2. Well, Matrix2 and X2 are also coming out soon-ish, but Matrix2 would probably be lame-like, unless they take totally different approach/concept and say something original about revolution and control. Definitely looking forward to LotR2, though. Perhaps more than HP2. Well, lower expectations of HP2 and higher for LotR2. Eowyn kicks muchly ass.
