Loo dee loo. It's 1am here. Which means all the east coast folks have gone to bed, and all the west coast folks are still out partying. Went to concert tonight. They played 5 of Beethoven's Piano-Cello sonatas, and the cellist was awesome. Not only did he memorize all of them, but he had the most amazing expressions while playing. Y'know how artists supposedly have the emotion of whatever they're drawing on their face? It's like that. He was just so into it! It was as if he didn't see us.... emotions of music (at least his interpretation) entirely played out on his face and in his actions. Very very cool. It's like having visual + audio interpretation of the same piece. I like Beethoven, esp his early-later pieces. And this time, I stayed away for the entire concert!
