huzzah! happy time!
Following the advice of my wonderful mommy, I just spent the last hour with Photoshop, instead of stressing myself out with homework.
So, I uploaded some more random photos of the campus. They're crappy photos, but I feel so very self conscious, trudging around with a digital camera. Also, always keep on forgetting to bring camera, or too dark and gloomy. No humans in them yet. (the whole self-conscious thing, you know) but anyway... scroll to the bottom. http://home.uchicago.edu/~sushux/Chicago/?M=A In case anyone's wondering, Eckhart hall is the math building, but it doesn't really matter, b/c it's just a typical Quad building, Bartlett used to be a gym, but is now a dining hall. The current gym is actually a field house, and the orange splotch between them is actually MaxP, the dorm designed by some famous Mexican architect. The photo of the firestation across the street is a view from my window, and is included because firestations remind me of Inferno (g-boys as firefighters). I've also annotated some of the photos from last time, pointing out random details, like tea and mooncakes. Those are appended with a "_a", and should be down there somewhere. .
Also spent some time coloring crappy sketch. I was trying to do the whole semi-opaque brush, and no airbrush, but I think I got a little impatient. She used to hold an umbrella, but it was a blob.
Wow, feeling all relaxed and happy now...
