Hmm.... after all that whining from last night, perhaps a little conclusion is necessary. What happened was that I stayed up really late writing (well, there was also that little discussion about SciOly, but I'm a SciOly dork, so it was necessary), and finally finished, but then had Hum reading, and I wanted to revise my essay and do math hw. So was almost ready to pull and all-nighter, but in the end gave up on Hum an math and instead got a few hours of sleep before getting up at 8:10 to revise my essay. Of course, given my 9 am class and the desire to eat breakfast, revising was really a process of skimming through, catching a few grammar errors, and saying, "crap, it doesn't make sense". Oh well. Today I asked in class what he was looking for, and plus the in-class discussion about topics that other people did made me feel a little better, and I think I'll have a better grasp of what to write next time. Everyone else's were more specific than mine, however. I think I tried to cover to much. ::sigh:: But anyway, math hw done, Chinese hw won't be hard, and I skimmed the hum reading in class. I'll read it closely later. And I was good girl and did math homework during lunch so was able to go to office hours! yay! Roman is much more comprehensible up close.
Tonight, also went to Venice baroque orchestra's Vivaldi concerts. The parts that I heard were *amazing*, and it gave me new insight to baroque music. But due to lack of sleep the previous night, and other misc factors such as fuzziness of glasses and crowdedness of theatre, I dozed through at least 3/4 of it. I think I heard about 30 min of the 2 hour concert. ;_; For example, when they played Four Seasons, I think I heard Spring I, II, Summer I, Autumn II, and Winter II, III, a scattered parts of the other concertos, and the 3 encores. (yes, *3*) So now I want to get their 4 Seasons CD.... Was very very awesome (well, the parts that I heard. otherwise, was very relaxing nap)
And now I don't feel awake enough to do math hw, so will do art instead. (I'm such a wimp) And it's Sushu's cheating contour drawing! My eyes move at the speed of a scurrying roach! (just watch me feel guilty tomorrow and do the ant thing)
Also had nice talk with mommy, and daddy is being caring and depressing as usual.
Tomorrow is Friday. Finish off math hw, walk around offices, take more photos, math class, etc. Prob. do hum stuff. Should I go watch Insomnia?
