back from University Theater info session. Went on the tech tour of the off-campus shop. 12 people sitting in van to visit large and spiffy shop: fun. Senior techies smoking in van while talking about fake IDs and places to buy alcohol: no so fun. My virginity in everything is starting to sink in. Guess will have to resign self to second-hand smoke since smokers appear to be hard to avoid. Not sure if will participate in tech for UT, sounds like fun, but I'm such a newbie, while everyone else is like, "hi, I'm a director/playwright, can I direct my own musical?" or "All I did was floorwork and some scene painting" or "yeah, I was at the reception last year and they asked for a master electrician, so I just volunteered". Thank you.
