There are two ways to write entries from Carnegie. One is updating directly online. One is downloading the LJ Client.

But first, make sure you are logged in to LJ:

How to Log In

1. Go to http://www.livejournal.com/login.bml (press [shift] when you click on the link so that it opens in a new window)
   
2. Fill in your username and password.
   
3. Change "Expiration" to Never
   
4. Press the "Login..." button
   

Yay! You're logged in! That means you can see my friends only entries.

Now you can update (post new entries) from the browser.

How to Update Journal

1. Click on the "..." after the words "Update Journal" in the left column. The link is http://www.livejournal.com/update.bml?mode=full
   
2. You can write in Chinese and click "update" at the bottom
   

If you want to update by downloading a client

Downloading Semagic

1. go to http://www.livejournal.com/~ljwin32_sema , and download the appropriate version.
   
2. install
   
3. if you can't type Chinese directly on Semagic, you can first type on Word and then copy + paste. It will still show up in the preview.
