I decided to start reading JueDaiShuanJiao, by Gu Long, and in the first chapter there are bad guys who represent each of the zodiac. o.O (Not at all like Tochi's SoF chars, but... de ja vu!)
Here's a rough translation:
The rooster-crow-like laughter continued as seven or eight people appeared from behind the carriage.
The first person is barely five feet tall, thin and gaunt, but he sports an outfit of fiery red. The appearance is unbelievably mysterious, unbelievably petty.
The second person, however, is obviously over nine feet in height, tall and imposing, wearing yellow robes and yellow hat. His scarred and expressionless face appears harder than iron.
The four men hovering behind were dressed even more strangely. Their clothes are stitched from a motley of colored fabrics, almost like the beggars in the operas.
Although these four look different, yet they have the same scowl, and the same movements, none faster, none slower.
There is one other man trailing far behind. The combined weight of the first seven is barely the equal of him, and an entire roll of fabric may not have been enough to make his clothes. He is so fat that he could barely walk. Panting with every step, he muttered repeatedly, "So hot...dying of heat..." Sweat streamed down in rivulets, tracing his fatty flesh.
Okay, I'll stop there. The last person is the pig, of course. It turns out that the red guy is the rooster crown, the yellow guy the breast, and the four guys the tail. They proceed to attack the main character... ^_^ lots of fun.
