at the end of the day...
I think it's going to come down to:
- can both of us get jobs in the new country that don't add more to climate change than we currently do
- will there be an exodus from California as living here becomes more untenable
- will he be willing to live in the new country for a year or two before Miss Rutabaga and I join him
