Yo, head's up for anyone who's planning a summer gumi road trip around California ::coughNicolecough::, my family will be in China from June 13th to July 15th.
On a side note, Taiwanese soap operas are horrible. Yuck.
On another side note, I finally got the free c++ compiler to work. Yay! I can finally catch up in class. (nasty doubly-linked lists. gah)
Hmm... since I started writing... might as well keep on doing so. Today's topic, ladies and gentlemen, is porn versus erotica. Oops, wait, did I say the "p" word? I didn't mean that. Hmm... dammit, this is the point that I'm trying to illustrate, the fact that I blush just saying "porn," but then am able to read yaoi-ish stuff to no end. Maybe I shouldn't be writing this, because I have no idea of what I'm talking about, and I do not for an instant represent the female population as a whole. Or anyone else, for that matter...
(oh well, that's what lj-cut is for. Purely my opinion, not anyone else's)
Are males and females stimulated differently? Most of the porn viewers are probably guys (I run after seeing a banner for one) On the other hand, they aren't as interested in the words as girls are. Do we look for more character development, while guys look for more action? Is it because erotica appeals to a more emotional level, while porn is more physical? Okay, me not talk anymore. Is bad for me health. ::ducks tomatoes:: Especially about things I know nothing about.
