Last look at daddy's childhood home

This trip was full of visits to past residences, etc. This place was cool because it used to be this westernized rowhouse compound, so it's got this cool window decorations, etc. It has smells that I associate with home.

new yuckiness

Oh, in Changzhou they have this new faux-Spring/Autumn city that they're building, completely inaccurately. It is filled with stores and restaurants. It would have been cool if 1) they were more historically accurate, and 2) handed out period costumes to wear upon entry. But as it is, it's just uber-lame

the real deal

But the real deal isn't much better. It's three concentric moats that measure out exactly to be 3, 5, and 7 li in circumference. Problem is, it's just kinda left out there to wilderness itself. :(

silliness

Finally, I present you with some silliness
