(no subject)
Bah... I'm tired and sleepy and Joanne is using my computer to write expert speeches so that she doesn't have to think depressing thoughts. But that means I can't access the CGU script so I can't do the comic thingy... oh wait, I don't have a pencil anyway. Bah. So I'm just sitting at the library and updating my LJ. Go me.
I made a map of the Labrynth that is Reynold's Club today, which I'm particularly proud of. It's in the files section of the jas-officers wiki.
And um... when I woke up today I was really sleepy, and I was positive I was gonna take a nap in the RC lounge place, but instead I went to the library and wrote emails and schtuff, and I ended up not-sleeping, which would explain my tiredness right now. SMAC meeting went uber-long today, and then I had to read some MUNUC paper about structural adjustments and human rights. Bah.
I want to sleep. Or failing that, watching a movie while drawing the comic. Or perhaps knitting.
Did I mention that I lost the hat that I've managed to hold onto since first year? I was quite proud of the fact that it is my one-and-only Chicago hat. And then I lent it to Joanne when we went to see Casanova and now it's on a CTA red line train. :(. Oh well, I'm knitting myself a new one. But it's not going very well. Maybe I should rip it and start over.
I want to start making to the Thursday night "Shaolin Chop Sockey" Doc screenings, but that may not be possible cause I'm always so pooped Thursday night, and then by Friday, weekend festivities begin.
Mitsuwa trip Saturday, which means I'll be stocking up on Korean nori, udon, and various.
UChi-Con planning is going well. Eric did a swell job with the logo:
It's Feb 25th, people!
Oh, speaking of UChi-con, we have one speaker driving 250 miles from Vancouver to Seattle to take the cheaper flight from there, and we have one speaker driving 70 miles from Canton, NY to Ottawa, Canada, which happens to be his nearest airport. I am greatly amused but the mutually-nullifying factor of the Great Canadian Border Crossing.
And I'm supposed to have this IM Conversation at 10pm or something, except said conversationist isn't around. Think will sign off and nag Joanne after this email.
