Mom called this morning, and we talked about Confucius and stuff and life, etc. It was really nice talking to them. Dad's still being dad, quirky and detail-obssessed. But they both sound relatively cheery, so it's all good. Also, dad says he's sending me money. Of course it's greatly appreciated, but a) I feel so bummy, and b) I was kinda happy that my finances were manageable... But anyway! money! Money is never a bad thing.
